How often should I replace my toothbrush?

For the best results from brushing, you should replace your toothbrush:

A. At least every three months

B. When bristles begins to show wear

C. After an illness such as a cold or flu

Why

A. Toothbrushes just simply wear out

B. Toothbrushes are often worn enough to be replaced bbefore they look worn.

C. Bristles breakdown and lose their effectiveness

D. Worn and fractured bristles are a breeding ground for germs, fungus and bacteria

E. Worn toothbrushes can damage gum tissue.
